DCB Stones
The DCB (Diamond with Ceramic Bond) Stones are available in coarse and medium grit and used for efficient and consistent substance removal of high-performance ceramics including:

Zirconia
Lithium disilicate
Hard, non-precious metal alloys such as model cast/cobalt-chrome (CoCr)

Advantages:

Initial sharpness upon first contact due to their optimal diamond bond
Stable edges make them resistant to fracture and gives them a long service life
Permit soft, gentle work without the need to apply pressure due to large number of diamond grains

Recommendations for Use:

10,000 to 12,000 RPM with low pressure to prevent heat build-up
Work on larger areas and avoid concentrating on the same spot for a prolonged period
For cooling, apply a wet sponge to the prosthesis
