About

Komet's 4ZR is a coarse grit, cylinder round-shaped diamond used for cutting and removing all-ceramic crowns.

The 4ZR can be used on all-ceramic crowns, including:

Zirconia / Zirconium dioxide
Lithium disilicate

Benefits:

Easily cuts and reduces labor typically required to remove all-ceramics due to its cylinder shape and 8 mm length
Withstands friction created by all-ceramic crowns due to having more diamond particles closer together on the blank

Recommendations for Use:

Use a generous amount of water and light hand pressure
To take full advantage of the instrument's shape and size, apply the instrument at an angle of 45 degrees to the crown
Always apply sufficient coolant (at least 50 ml/min)
Do not exceed a maximum contact pressure of 2N
