Eric Hymes,  President and Chief Executive Officer
  

Eric Hymes serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Komet USA.

Eric joined Komet USA in 2024 as Vice President of Sales and Business Development to build, lead and develop the sales team and strategies in the general dentistry and endodontics product arenas. 

He joined Komet following a 25-year career in various leadership roles ranging from sales, marketing, general management, M&A and consulting in the medical device industry. Most recently, Eric served as the Vice President of Business Development at Dentsply Sirona, where his role encompassed strategic pricing, clinical education and academies, enterprise marketing, PMO and channel sales with a corporate P&L of $1.6B.

Hymes holds a bachelor’s degree from Radford University in Virginia. He also is a US Army combat medic veteran, which was a catalyst in his pursuing a corporate career in healthcare. He also serves as founder and executive director of Hope on Short Final, "a non-profit organization that airlifts emergency relief supplies to communities affected by weather disasters.

 

McCuen Elmore, Head of Controlling

McCuen Elmore serves as the Head of Controlling at Komet USA.

In his role as Head of Controlling, McCuen is responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and controlling activities across North American operations. He partners with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making and ensure financial efficiency in support of Komet’s growth.

McCuen has worked in the dental industry since 2021 in various capacities, including finance, marketing, product management, pricing, and operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Clemson University and an MBA from Winthrop University.

John Leone, Head of Retail Sales

John brings over 22 years of experience in the dental industry. During his Five-year tenure at Komet USA, John has held Multiple roles including , National Accounts Manager, West Regional Manager, and most recently as director of sales West and Endodontics.

With his experience in consumables, capital equipment, and education, John leads the sales team in expanding Komet USA's customer base on both the rotary instrumentation and endodontic portfolios across the retail customer segment.

Deidre Wise, Head of Channel Sales

Deidre Wise serves as the Head of Channel Sales for Komet USA. 

In this role, Deidre oversees the company’s Channel business across North America, including DSO and GPO partnerships, Institutional markets (universities, government, military, community health, and Indian Health), and strategic Business Development initiatives. She leads efforts to build and expand strategic partnerships that drive growth and strengthen Komet USA’s position across key segments of the dental industry.

Deidre has worked in the dental industry since 2015, with experience on both the manufacturing/vendor and distribution sides of the business. She brings a deep understanding of the dental market and a collaborative approach to developing long-term partnerships that create value for customers and partners alike.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Akron.
